With great sadness, Calroy announces the recent passing of Sukey Smith, who led our Physician Liaison department.
During her time with Calroy, Sukey drew on her many years of prior experience in the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries, supporting hundreds of HCPs with her product expertise and lively good humor.
Sukey’s exceptional communications skills were forged in a remarkable history outside of the business world. A music graduate from the University of Southern California, she was a successful songwriter (with grants from the National Endowment for the Arts), and a top-rated photographer (she received a Kodak scholarship to USC). She was also an actor with a lifelong career in advertising and TV, including roles in popular shows such as LA Law, Growing Pains and Knot’s Landing. For relaxation, Sukey trained and showed American Eskimo dogs at Champion level.
Sukey will be dearly missed by her colleagues and HCP customers alike.
